  3. Composer Guide for Contact Emails

When you unlock a Contact Email in SpeakerDrive, you're gaining a direct line to a specific decision-maker. The Message Composer is ready to help you leverage this connection through two powerful channels: Email and LinkedIn.

Using the Email Channel

Email is often the primary channel for direct outreach, and the Composer is finely tuned to help you create emails that stand out.

How SpeakerDrive Crafts Your Emails: The "Wow Factor"

When you click "Generate Outreach" for the Email channel, SpeakerDrive's AI performs a sophisticated analysis. It isn't just plugging in names; it's looking for genuine "small world" connection points between your profile (Bio & Experience) and the information we have about the contact and their organization/event.

The goal is to find up to three distinct angles that create a "wow, this person gets me/us" moment. The AI looks for things like:

• Direct industry overlap between your experience and their focus

• Specific organizations, roles, or projects you've worked on that align with theirs

• Topics or achievements in your background that match their needs or event themes

• Geographic, professional, or thematic connections that feel authentic

From Connections to Conversations

Based on these connection points, the AI doesn't just give you snippets; it crafts three full, distinct email options. Each email aims to:

Sound Human: Using natural language, varied sentence structures, and a peer-to-peer tone (guided by your chosen Voice Profile)

Position You Subtly: Mentioning your relevant experience as context, not as a hard sell

Be Relevant: Weaving in one of the specific connection points found

Invite Dialogue: Often ending with a low-pressure, open-ended question that makes it easy for the recipient to respond

This entire process is designed to create emails that cut through the noise, show you've done your homework, and—most importantly—start a meaningful conversation.

Using Your Generated Emails

Once the three email options appear in the editor:

  1. Toggle & Choose: Use the arrows to switch between the three variations. Pick the one whose angle and tone you like best.

  2. Edit & Refine: Make any final tweaks directly in the editor to ensure it perfectly matches your voice.

  3. Send or Save:

• Click Send via Gmail to send it directly from SpeakerDrive

• Click Send To... to push it to your CRM via webhooks

• Click Copy to paste it into your own email client

• Click Save to keep it for later

Using the LinkedIn Channel

For many Contact leads, you'll find a LinkedIn tab available in the Message Composer.

  1. Toggle to LinkedIn: Click the "LinkedIn" tab.

  2. Access Profile: You will typically see the contact's LinkedIn profile URL displayed, making it easy to visit their profile and gather additional context before reaching out.

  3. Generate Connection Requests: With your core settings configured (Position Message For, Voice Profile), click "Generate Outreach." The Composer will provide three variations specifically designed as personalized LinkedIn connection requests. These are often shorter and more direct, suitable for the platform.

  4. Copy & Connect: Choose the option you like best, copy it, and use it when sending your connection request on LinkedIn.

By using the Composer for your Contact Email unlocks, you leverage AI to create personalized, thoughtful outreach that respects your prospect's time and significantly increases your chances of getting that important first response.
