  3. Composer Guide for Event URLs

Event URLs are direct links to opportunities like speaker application forms, "Call for Papers" pages, or other submission portals on event websites. When you unlock an Event URL in SpeakerDrive, you can either click the link to go directly to the application page or use the Message Composer's Apply channel to help you craft compelling content for your submission.

Using the "Apply" Channel

Think of the "Apply" channel as your application co-pilot. Its goal isn't to send a message, but to generate structured content based on your profile and the event details, making it easier for you to complete online submission forms with well-crafted, relevant information.

  1. Access the Composer: Unlock an Event URL lead and click "Generate Outreach." The "Apply" channel will be automatically selected.

  2. Set Your Inputs:Position Message For: Choose the service you're primarily offering (Keynote Speaking, Workshop, etc.) • Voice Profile: Select the tone you want the generated content to reflect

  3. Generate Application Content: Click the "Generate Outreach" button.

Understanding the Output: Your Application Toolkit

The "Apply" channel generates rich, structured application content designed to help you build a strong case. Instead of an email, you'll receive a detailed breakdown that often includes:

Talk Title: A suggested, compelling title for your proposed session

Abstract: A detailed summary of your presentation, outlining the key themes, challenges addressed, and strategies offered

About (Speaker Bio): A version of your professional background tailored to highlight your relevance to this specific event

Key Takeaways: A bulleted list detailing the specific knowledge, skills, or insights the audience will gain

Audience Benefit: An explanation of who will benefit most from your session and why it's valuable to them

This comprehensive output provides a strong foundation, saving you time and helping you present your expertise persuasively.
